About Us
Two private guest cottages, a peaceful hobby farm and personal hospitality in beautiful Qualicum Beach.
Your holiday, your pace
Welcome to Suite Amour Hobby Farm Guest Cottages in beautiful Qualicum Beach, British Columbia. There are no schedules here. Each cottage is complete with a kitchenette, so you can prepare what you want, when you want. This is your holiday.
Enjoy the privacy of your cottage or relax outside on the covered deck overlooking the hobby farm while the horses graze. Walk down to the pond to feed the fish, join Judy near the barn, or head across the road to explore forest trails filled with native Vancouver Island birds.
After a day touring beaches, markets and local attractions, return to your countryside sanctuary. Pour a glass of wine, listen to the evening birds and watch for deer grazing in the yard with their fawns.

Meet Judy
Judy is an active woman who loves life on her hobby farm and always has a project on the go. Suite Amour opened more than 12 years ago, and she feels fortunate to share this small parcel of land at the edge of the forest with guests from every walk of life and every corner of the world.
Much of Judy's time is spent caring for the horses, animals and property. She takes pride in providing clean, private and relaxing cottages where guests can settle in comfortably and enjoy the peace of country living.
Judy also loves baking bread and homemade goodies, making lavender sachets, meeting new people and helping visitors discover Qualicum Beach and Vancouver Island. A memorable fun fact: Judy once appeared in a ZZ Top music video.
Meet the animals
The farm is home to Emmy, the horse who inspired Emmy Cottage, and the adorable miniature horse Mira-Bell. Guests may have an opportunity to visit them with Judy and offer a carrot.
Ruby, the family dog, loves people and may occasionally greet guests outside. The property is also shared with a cat, pond fish, frogs, seasonal birds, deer and other local wildlife.
